Personality Of The Sphynx

The Sphynx cats and Sphynx kittens are personality plus! They are playful and loving cats when properly socialized as kittens. They truly love and adore their human families. Many have compared the personality of the Sphynx cats to those of monkeys and dogs. They are very dog-like because they love to follow you around the house.  They will also greet you when you come home from a long day at work. They are a little like monkeys because they also love to be held. They are devoted and loyal to their owners, but will take  attention  from whoever is willing to give it to them. They love to be the center of attention when company arrives.  The Sphynx have been known to “clown around or show off.

  The Sphynx are very curious animals and love to get involved  in whatever you may be doing. The Sphynx is a true lap cat. They love to snuggle up with you while watching TV or searching the web. They also like to sleep in the "big people" bed under the covers!

The intelligence of the Sphynx is unbelievable. They are very easily trained. Many Sphynx have been leashed trained. They also like to go for rides in the car. Many have been taught to play fetch and believe it or not toilet trained! I even know of one that expects her daily walks in the park with her human mom in her own personal kitty stroller. Talk about spoiled! 
          Our Sphynx kittens are raised in our home with our family. They are raised with our dogs and our one "hairy" cat. They all get along great. The Sphynx are good pets for children that have been taught to respect the needs and wants of animals. As you have read the Sphynx cats are pretty special animals.
